I was keeping my research diary for around three weeks - writing in it at least one/two pages everyday. My remarks, observations, feelings, responds toward latest events, daily reports and dreams. I think what I am most thankful for, that I took from this assignment is that I started to pay attention to my dreams. Few first pages don't include dreams, because I simply didn't remember them. But when I started to, I was writing them down, later on recording - pretty much everyday I had a dream that I could remember in details. For the first time in my life I had a lucid dream - where I was aware of being in the dream and able to do something about it. This 'dreams research' was a starting point for my artistic projects as dreams painting ( which is a visualisation of my recorded dreams) or my dream baby maquette.
I feel like it was a really important step in my artistic process, since I realised how much my inner - fantasy, dreams world is important for me and for my art practice.
